This project is a feasibility study for Bortelid, a part of the mountain area Setesdalsheiene, in Åseral Municipality, Norway. The work suggests strategic initiatives to elevate the village's value beyond its function as a winter paradise for skiers.

The study explored how future-oriented and sustainable tourism and local life can flourish in Bortelid – across all four seasons. Grounded in the existing natural landscape, we identified strategic interventions that build upon the center's typology and it's surrounding nature areas. Our deliverables included concepts for land use, landscape design, architecture, art curation and attractive facilities for culture and stakeholders – all aimed at increasing the Bortelid's value.
